Eating healthy can change your mood within days. Cutting out processed foods and trying to eat as much fresh products as you can will really jumpstart it. This was one of the hardest things for me to cut out, I really love lunchmeat, candy, chips, anything that is processed had me addicted.

You Will Feel Great Therefore Exercise Will Be Fun

I know it may sound weird, exercise and fun together, however you can make exercise as fun as you want. Exercise more than going to the gym and dealing with grunters or feeling like everyone is just watching you. We will get outdoors, or stay indoors if that is your thing. The amazing part of exercise is you can make it what you want and what you are comfortable with.

It’s true that it doesn’t have to be hours a day, seven days a week. Exercise can truly be fifteen to thirty minutes a day, three to five times a week. You will want more once you continue on your journey though.

Getting Enough Good Sleep Is Another Important Step To Losing Weight And Becoming Healthy

I was always one of those folks who would stay up and look at the clock; well it’s one in the morning if I go to sleep in thirty minutes I will still get over five hours of sleep. That’s great, however it’s not enough. It doesn’t let your mind fall into recovery sleep, that deep REM time of your night. Your brain and body need time to reset at night which is what makes sleep so important.

Drinking Enough Water Is Crucial To This Journey, It Helps Your Mind And Body

Water is what kept us alive before there was coffee haha. Our bodies are literally built to run on water and the nutrients we put into it. About sixty percent of our bodies are water so we need to replenish and feed that throughout the day. Our brains work amazingly better when we get the correct amount of water throughout the day.

All this being said if following a diet or using a supplement to kick start your journey or for the long run helps you then that is what you should do. Just remember that if you use a supplement you will still need to learn to eat healthy, exercise, drink plenty of water, work on your mindset, and get healthy sleep. We don’t follow any diet other than we try and eat as much in the way of fresh and way less processed foods. We haven’t gone completely away from processed of course, I still like toast every once in a while. however when I have toast, it is with a whole grain bread that is a healthier choice than others.
